Hudson McKenzie Charitable Foundation is overseen by a board of trustees who are responsible for the overall control and strategic direction of the charity.
The trustees ensure that the charity is properly governed, that it complies with legal and regulatory requirements and that its resources are used exclusively to further its charitable objects.
The trustees:
- Set the vision, mission and strategic priorities of the foundation.
- Ensure that all activities further the charity’s objects and provide demonstrable public benefit.
- Oversee governance, finance, risk management and safeguarding arrangements.
- Approve and monitor grants, partnerships and key policies.
- Report to the Charity Commission in accordance with applicable requirements.
